Approval process

  1. You decide to find your dream home, investment property or to refinance.
  2. You meet with a KCHL consultant to discuss your needs.
  3. We advise you on our recommendation for finance.
  4. We complete the application form and submit all necessary documents required for approval.
  5. Income protection and/or life cover implemented (subject to suitability and approval).
  6. Your loan is assessed by the lenders credit team and the valuation is ordered.
  7. When all conditions of approval are received your loan can be formally approved.
  8. Building Insurance – We arrange for an insurer to call you to obtain insurance cover for your property. (Free cover for the settlement period, up to 3 months)
  9. The lenders panel solicitor prepares your letter of offer and mortgage documents.
  10. You sign and return the letter of offer and mortgage documents.
  11. We advise you when you lender has your loan ready for settlement.
  12. Congratulations! Your loan is settled.
